Hi my name is Paul Unsworth and im from the northwest.With TOURETTES & "BASHIN IN THE BLOOD".,they made the perfect combination, and this is were my path leads.My local line is the Manchester Vic & Picc to Preston & Blackpool, top line for Pedds & Duffs back in the day... (Going to Preston all my life ). I Classed all my 87,s most of my 86,s, needed 24 to complete,and all the roarer family in which im very proud of.Saw the first class 90 on test @ preston,did all 37/4,s From Man picc to Crewe & Crewe through the Cambrian line to Aberystwyth and back many many times. (loved those days :))))... Personally i loved Hoovers ,The big 50,s . On a day out down to Birmingham new street looking for 50,s , 50037 Illustrious was in the station and my rover ticket permitted, i jumped straight on. Havin the honour of being thrashed all the short way to Lemmington spa :( at the age of 13). I also had the pleasure of viewing 50016 Barham @ new st on the way out.
Ive jumped a Class 56 rail tour @ carlisle to Lazonby Station,oops no ticket but well worth it(i was young).
At the tender age of 15 i left it all behind me for the ladies,drink & other things ...
Im now 34, And work from Chorley Fm Radio. For some strange reason the blood started to boil again.Elr is my haunt now gettin as much TRACTION as i can ,& havin the pleasure of doin the Alton observer Rail tour 50031 & 49 ,,. which brought it all back for me ...... i hope you enjoy my pics .....Thanks for readin my bullsh*t.........
